Pinal County Sheriff’s deputies are wearing pink patches once again this October.

The patches aim to raise funds for breast cancer support and awareness.

The limited-edition shoulder patches are available for the public to purchase for $10 per patch.

The funds raised will benefit the Arizona nonprofit Check for a Lump. Patches may be purchased in person or online.

Pink patches are for sale during normal business hour at the following two PCSO substations:

  • 971 N. Jason Lopez Circle, Building C in Florence
  • 31505 N. Schnepf Road in San Tan Valley

They can be purchased online at https://p2p.onecause.com/pink-patch2024/challenge.

Check for a Lump uses donations to fund breast cancer education programs, free mammograms and diagnostic tests, wigs and support groups. The Phoenix-based organization was founded in 2010.
