In an absolute non-political comment, I must say that my wife and I were appalled at the sight of numerous campaign signs along the roadways that seem to identify Abe Hamadeh as a man draped in a monk’s outfit with the message that says “America was founded on Islamic principles.”
Blatant disregard for any semblance of truth and as classless as any campaign could get. I believe that it is un-American to bring religion into a political campaign.
I will say upfront that I am not registered as a Republican or Democrat so this comment only applies to the disgusting, unsubstantiated statement on the campaign signs. In addition, we found that one has to do research to find who is behind these statements, as they hide behind a third party website.
Attack ads are one thing, however this way of publishing signage which is so blatantly objectionable brings smearing to a new low. One wonders if there are any policy positions stated here or simply a pitiful shot at a fellow human being.
Again, I am neither pro- or anti-Abe Hamadeh, just truly insulted that we have to see this classless garbage in this election cycle.
