The Herberger Theater Center has appointed Victoria Williams as chair of its board of directors.

She is manager talent acquisition partner–US campus recruitment for American Express and will serve alongside the 2024-2025 slate of officers: Mike Parrish (vice chair), Stephanie Quincy (vice chair), Alan Augenstein (treasurer), Dawn Hart (secretary), and Jenny Holsman Tetreault (immediate past chair).

In addition, four new board members were elected: Philip Kim, Signature Wealth Concepts; Erika Rubio, Downtown Phoenix Inc; Bob Fingerman, Phoenix Convention Center & Venues; and Bryan Darby, Vice President of Strategic Technology.

“These new members bring important expertise and diverse viewpoints that are critical for our board of directors, particularly as we continue to work together to attract new audiences and engage the community,” Mark Mettes, Herberger president and CEO, shared in a press release.

Kim is a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where he majored in hospitality and business. Rubio currently serves as senior community engagement manager at Downtown Phoenix Inc. Fingerman has more than 25 years of industry experience managing events and public assembly facilities in both the public and private sectors. And Darby serves as vice president of Strategic Technology Initiatives with QTS.

Built in 1989 to foster the growth of performing arts and revitalize downtown Phoenix, the Herberger Theater celebrates the diverse, multicultural heritage of the Valley community with performing arts experiences year after year.

The Herberger is home to three resident performing arts companies: Arizona Opera, Childsplay Theatre, and iTheatre Collaborative.
