Goodwill to open first store in downtown Phoenix

Posted

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is opening the first downtown Phoenix store on Friday, July 5.

The new 16,000-square-foot store, within the historic former Firestone Building, is at 310 W. Van Buren St.

“We’re thrilled about the grand opening of this iconic location and the community has been extremely excited as it’s the first store in downtown Phoenix,” said Adam Lewis, senior vice president and chief retail officer of GCNA.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 8:45 a.m. To promote the story, Goodwill officials are offering the first 150 people in line outside a $5 gift card for use while shopping at the new location. If guests bring a full bag of donations during regular hours of the grand opening weekend, they will also receive a $5 off coupon.
