Arizona Science Center will broadcast live with OceanXplorer, the world’s most advanced exploration, research and media vessel, which is currently in the ocean depths in Indonesia, at an upcoming event.
Visit the Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen Theater on the Arizona Science Center’s downtown campus for a live broadcast from OceanXplorer. Hosted by OceanX CEO Vincent Pieribone and featuring Arizona native and OceanX’s Science Program Director Mattie Rodrigue, the event offers a behind-the-scenes look at ocean exploration and the groundbreaking research being conducted on the vessel.
Prior to joining the OceanX team, Rodrigue earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, with a concentration in conservation and ecology, from Arizona State University.
The event, which goes from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 27, allows guests to interact with scientists on board as they explore the deep sea conducting groundbreaking research. Ask questions in real time, witness live experiments, and gain insights into the oceans’ mysteries.
Pieribone will sit down for Fireside Chat and Q&A following the live stream.
The event is included with all Arizona Science Center Memberships and general admission.
