Two Peoria students were named to the Dean's List at Hofstra University for the spring 2024 semester.

They are Samantha Johns, who is studying neuroscience, and Mackenzie Sullivan, who is studying criminology.

The university congratulates the students named to the spring 2024 Dean's List for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the Dean's List.

Hofstra University's primary mission is to provide a quality education to its students in an environment that encourages, nurtures, and supports learning, according to a news release.

Hofstra students create their success with small classes and dedicated faculty, alongside a beautiful campus, plus all the opportunities of New York City within easy reach, the release said.
