Officials from Maricopa County and various Mesa Agencies are partnering for the East Valley Safety Fair on Aug. 14.

The event will be held 6-8 p.m. at The Post, 26 N. Macdonald in Mesa, according to a press release. The event is advertised as an “informative evening about public safety” featuring presentations from Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell, Maricopa County Sheriff Russ Skinner, Maricopa County Supervisor Tom Galvin, Mesa Police Chief Ken Cost, and Mesa Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Andi Fourlis.

The first 100 attendees get a free slice of pizza, according to the press release.

“Collaboration is key when it comes to public safety. MCSO, along with partner agencies, looks forward to interacting with our community to share public safety efforts, listen to their needs, and answer questions,” the press release said.
