The Fighter Country Foundation, a Goodyear nonprofit organization supporting the community of Luke Air Force Base, has been awarded a $100,000 grant from JE Dunn Construction as part of the company’s Centennial celebration.

This grant was announced during a surprise ceremony, recognizing Fighter Country Foundation, as one of ten organizations nationwide selected to receive funding through JE Dunn’s community impact campaign, Building a Legacy: A Century of Generosity.

The Fighter Country Foundation, is a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the morale, well-being, culture, and sustainability of Luke Air Force Base, which houses the largest fighter wing in the United States Air Force and serves over 127,000 individuals.

The grant will support Fighter Country Foundation initiatives, including programs focused on morale and well-being, culture and tradition, and mission custainability.

“This grant will be used for facility improvements and the expansion of our programs serving the Luke AFB community,” said Ron Sites, Executive Director and President of Fighter Country Foundation.

Over the past four years, JE Dunn has contributed $235,000 to Fighter Country Foundation through its annual charity golf tournament, which has funded numerous initiatives and projects where JE Dunn has provided in-kind construction services.
