Goodyear Councilmember Wally Campbell has been named the West Valley Women Networking Association's 2024 Woman of the Year.

The West Valley Women Networking Association consists of businesswomen and women from diverse backgrounds across cities including Glendale, Peoria, and Buckeye, focusing on professional development and community networking and this award recognizes women committed to community service, leadership, and contributions to the West Valley region.

“I am deeply honored to receive this recognition,” said Campbell. “While I never expect rewards for my community work, this is especially meaningful and special because it is from an organization I hold so dear.”

Campbell has been a member of the Goodyear City Council since 2011, having been elected to complete a term and subsequently reelected for two additional terms.

Arizona Broadway Theatre in  Peoria will host the West Valley Women Networking Association as it honors Campbell 11:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1  for the organization's scheduled monthly meeting and celebratory luncheon.
