Kimberly Trotta is the new executive director of Life Care Center of North Glendale, starting in May.
Trotta comes to the skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility with more than 24 years experience in long-term and skilled nursing care.
She has a bachelor’s degree in social work and served as a director of social services before getting into administration. Most recently, she served as regional compliance administrator and deputy director for the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services.
“I have always enjoyed helping others, so when I graduated, I started working as a social worker within a skilled nursing/long-term care facility,” Trotta stated in a press release. “I quickly realized this was my passion.”
Speaking about her experience at the Glendale facility, Trotta praised the center’s staff and residents for their welcoming spirit and for helping make her adjustment smooth.
One of Trotta’s goals is to increase awareness of the facility and its services in the Glendale community.
“We have a great facility and team, and I want to remind the community that we are here to assist them with their rehabilitation needs,” she said.
Life Care Center of North Glendale, 13620 N. 55th Ave., is one of 10 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Arizona managed by Life Care Centers of America.
With headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee, Life Care manages nearly 200 nursing, post-acute and Alzheimer’s centers in 26 states. For more information about Life Care, visit lcca.com.
