Hale concert pays tribute to Sonny & Cher and 'groovy' friends

Hale Centre Theatre is putting on a "groovy" tribute Aug. 30-Sept. 12 at its concert hall honoring  Sonny & Cher and their closest friends.

Audiences are invited to celebrate the hits of Sonny & Cher alongside classics from Nancy Sinatra, Linda Ronstadt, Elton John, The Righteous Brothers, and Neil Diamond.

Performances include songs like "I Got You Babe," "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'," "You're No Good," "Rocket Man," "Unchained Melody," and "Sweet Caroline."

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday while Thursday-Saturday also has 4 p.m. shows.  There will be no shows Sundays or Monday, Sept 2, and Tuesday, Sept. 10
