ASU professor emeritus Duane Roen will lead a family history workshop about favorite school day memories Sept. 17 at HD South.
Roen, co-founding coordinator for the Project for Writing and Recording Family History in the College of Integrative Science and Arts, will lead the discussion about a range of memory categories before particpants write about their favorite memory.
That range of memories about days in school cover experiences with the physical spaces of schools, the technology for learning such as pencils and paper, blackboards and whiteboards, projectors and videos as well as the clothes worn, teachers, classmates, extracurricular activities, and more.
The workshop wil go from 6:30-8 p.m. It is free, but registration is required.
