The city of Chandler’s recreation department has partnered with Kyrene del Pueblo Middle School for another season of free family fun at “Community Nights” on the third Friday of each month.
Designed to be an affordable playdate for the whole family, Community Nights combines sports and themed activities for a well-rounded evening of recreation.
Monthly themes guide the crafts and activities. Open gym games are available for families to participate in together.
Families and friends can play organized games, compete in a relay race, or try something new.
Sensory bins will also be onsite for individuals with sensory sensitivities.
Each night features a different theme to provide fun and imaginative ways to enjoy seasonal activities while creating unforgettable memories.
Kyrene del Pueblo Middle School is at 360 S. Twelve Oaks Blvd. For more information, click here or call 480-782-2727.
The fun starts this Friday. Here are the themes and some activities planned:
Sept. 20: Una Noche en Familia
Oct. 18: Monster/ Mayhem Fest (Costume Contest)
Nov. 15: Thankful for All
Dec. 20: Jingle Bell Rock (Ugly Sweater Contest)
Jan. 17, 2025: Healthy Habits
Feb. 21, 2025: Love is in the Air
April 18, 2025: Blissful Blooming
May 6, 2025: Mad Science
