Chandler Center for Arts announces lineup for 35th season

The Chandler Center for the Arts has announced its initial lineup of shows for 2024-25, its 35th anniversary season. The season will be a blend of returning favorites and new artists.

Highlights of the season include the rhythm theatrical show, Stomp, set for Feb. 7, 2025.

Other highlights include Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Gregory Porter on Aug. 17 of this year, vocalist Beth Hart (Sept. 6), tap dance troupe Syncopated Ladies (Feb. 21, 2025) and a production of The Wizard of Oz (Mar. 14  and 15, 2025).

The season will also showcase artists performing their craft with a twist. These include a new take on literature with Shakespeare in Jazz with the Daniel Kelly Trio (Apr. 4), a fusion of acrobatics and mechanical marvels in Cirque Mechanics: Pedal Punk (Apr. 11) and pianists in a duel in Piano Battle: Andreas vs Paul (Apr.13).

Other performers include jazz saxophonist Boney James and singer Brian McKnight. There's also an international guitar night.

Additional shows for the 2024-25 season will be announced throughout the year, including special community performances and events.
