Pinal County offices closed in Florence due to water main break

Posted

A water main break in Florence on Wednesday morning has caused a water outage that is affecting all areas south of the Gila River, including some Pinal County government offices.

The water main break took place near Main and 22nd streets. The break has also caused a road closure from Main and Gressinger streets to Main and Feliz streets for northbound traffic. The Florence Public Works Department is working to fix the water main.

Due to the outage, the Pinal County Development Services office at 85 N. Florence St. is closed today, as are the offices of the assessor and treasurer at 31 N. Pinal St., Building E.

The Recorder's Office and the Pinal VOTES Center at 320 W. Adamsville Road remain open, but the public restrooms are closed.

Satellite offices for all services around the rest of the county are not affected by the water outage and remain open.
