Lions Club organizing meeting Oct. 7 in Apache Junction

A meeting to organize a Lions Club in Apache Junction will be held at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 7 in the Cholla Room at Lost Dutchman RV Park, 400 N. Plaza Drive. All interested are welcome.

Lions Club is a nonprofit volunteer service organization with a motto of “We Serve,” according to a release.

Lions serve to help improve health and wellbeing, strengthen community and support those in need through humanitarian service, the release states.
