Westgate’s Fitness in the District hosts spring training themed workout Tuesday

Westgate Entertainment District encourages residents to step up to their fitness plate in its spring training gear for its free baseball themed Fitness in the District event 6:30-7:45 p.m. Tuesday in Westgate’s WaterDance Plaza, 6751 N. Sunset Blvd, Glendale.

Free Fitness in the District workouts are held most Tuesday’s throughout the spring. This Tuesday’s event is titled “Baseball’s Back.”

The classes blend the latest workout trends with traditional formats, including Fire Up GX, Zumba, Zumba Strong, EDM BodyFitness, MixxedFit, Bang and more. Dress up to different themed workouts and win giveaways each week. Family friendly. All ages welcome. Please bring your own mat. Refreshments provided. 6:30-7:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 16. Theme: “Rock & Rolling Stones.” We wanna rock & roll & dance with you all night!

6:30-7:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 23. Theme: “It’s the ‘80s Baby.” You gotta fight for your right to work out!

6:30-7:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 30. Theme: “Free Dress + Canned Food Drive.” Donations will benefit Tolleson Food Bank.

6:30-7:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 14. Theme: “Match with Mom.” Dress up with mom & show her how strong she taught you to be!
