Live music, beer garden, vendors come together to benefit local charities

Foodies get to dine on the West Valley’s best foods at Taste of Surprise, which runs 4-8 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at Surprise Stadium, 15850 N. Bullard Ave.

The event, which debuted in 2013, features dozens of food vendors courtesy culinary talents from award-winning restaurants and local emerging chefs. There is also a car show, beer garden, kids zone, and more. Litchfield Park band Los Gringos supplies live music.

General admission is $25, and VIP access is $75.

All proceeds benefit Homeless Youth Connection, Hope Community Services, One Step Beyond Inc., The Salvation Army, and the Rotary Club of Surprise Community Foundation.

Previous Tastes of Surprise featured more than 50 local restaurants, beer, wine, and spirit vendors with more than 1,100 attendees. A past event raised over $40,000 for five local charity organizations.

The Rotary Club of Surprise Community Foundation is a public charity operated exclusively for charitable purposes and governed by a Board of Trustees.
