What do you think of the growth?

Just curious what many of you feel about how much the West Valley has grown. Do you like it, dislike it? What would you like to see less of or more of? Me and my husband had a discussion, we came here because it was not very crowded, housing was affordable and great schools, but it has definitely changed. I’ve noticed it too but it doesn’t bother me as much as it does him. — Laura Mesa

Moving out

Been here 15 years. We are a two-income household and can’t afford to rent here any longer. Sadly, we will be moving shortly. — Jenny Mitchell

Bright idea?

We’ve lived here since 1999. The only growth issues that really bother me are “the bridge” over Grand. I wish they would have taken it under and all the light pollution at night. We used to be able to see a lot more stars. I don’t understand why businesses, such as the dealerships, can’t at least turn their lot lights down at night after closing. — Lori Hart Klement

Grass greener

As an Arizona transplant, I can say people have come here for the lower cost of living. We came from California. Real estate there is so high, no one can retire comfortably and places are stacked on each other. West Phoenix is a relative short drive and easy drive back, and Arizona cost of living is much lower. People are bailing California in favor of Arizona for this reason. — Linda Bartlett-Leach
