Authorities are investigating after a woman died at the scene of a collision along Loop 101 in Glendale.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said Catherine Opal Driggers, 33, of Peoria, was driving a black 2006 Kia SUV when it struck the median barrier wall on southbound Loop 101 near 75th Avenue.

Her vehicle rolled over, and she was ejected, DPS said.

“She died on-scene,” DPS stated. “Debris from the crash struck a passing vehicle, that driver was not injured.”

DPS said Ms. Driggers was not wearing her seat belt.

Officials are investigating what led to the crash.
