Salt River Project has been named to the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers 2024.
Tempe-based SRP ranked in the top quartile of the 400 businesses with 1,000 to 5,000 employees included on America’s Best Midsize Employers 2024 list, a press release explained.
This award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., a world statistics portal and industry-ranking provider. The awards list was announced Feb. 13 and can be viewed on the Forbes website.
America’s Best Employers were identified in an independent survey of a vast sample of over 170,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people within the U.S., the release stated.
The final rankings are based on input by employees and feedback provided by friends and family members of employees, or members of the public who work in the same industry.
SRP is a community-based, not-for-profit public power utility and the largest electricity provider in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, serving approximately 1.1 million customers.
