HercuTech welcomes Tempe mayor at manufacturing plant

Posted

Tempe-based HercuTech, the manufacturer of the sustainable wall-building system HercuWall, hosted Tempe Mayor Corey Woods March 21, for a private tour of its growing manufacturing plant, located at 8980 S. McKemy St., Suite 102, and to share news of its developments throughout the nation.

“Our HercuWall panels are a game-changing product for developers, builders and the entire construction industry, and it has not only resulted in more projects across the US but the expansion of our manufacturing facility here in Tempe,” HercuTech CEO Jason Rhees stated in a press release.

The company’s nearly 60,000-square-foot facility recently expanded to a total of 76,902 square feet that will be used to increase capacity and workflow functionality and includes the addition of a new HercuWall showroom and hands-on training space for HercuWall installers and trade partners, the release explained.

In addition to upgrading its headquarters, HercuTech has since expanded beyond the Arizona borders with projects in states across the nation.

“In both New Jersey and Florida, HercuWall is currently being used to build three-story conditioned self-storage facilities in partnership with Basis Industrial, Bentley Companies, and Elev8 Builders LLC. We have additional out-of-state projects upcoming in 2024 that will be announced later this year,” Rhees stated.

Using their patented HercuWall technology, which is mold, insect and fire resistant, as well as hurricane rated, the HercuTech team is nearing completion of the Berkeley Heights, N.J. self-storage facility, which will be 157,599 square feet amongst three stories.

The Florida-based facility will be a similarly constructed three-story self-storage facility totaling 126,741 square feet, which will begin HercuWall installation on the first floor this week.

Tempe Mayor Corey Woods said he’s excited to have HercuTech based in Tempe, according to the release.

“This technology holds a lot of promise not just in Tempe but for the entire construction industry nationally and internationally,” Woods stated.  “It’s exciting to see this innovation happening right here in our city and you don’t have to leave Tempe to find it you can simply come right here and see what the future of the construction looks like right here at HercuTech.”

The earth-friendly HercuWall system is a certified, panelized wall system technology that is made of insulating foam, a patented steel HercuStrip, a weather-resistant barrier and site integrated concrete — providing greater strength, insulation and energy efficiency.
