Riders on light rail will need to exit at Veterans Way/College Avenue in Tempe and transfer trains to continue their eastbound and westbound travel from Tuesday until June 1, Valley Metro officials said.

All riders departing from the following stations will use the eastbound side of the platform:

  • McClintock/Apache
  • Smith-Martin/Rural
  • Dorsey/Apache
  • University Drive/Rural

Check directional signs on trains before boarding, according to Valley Metro, which added:

  • Trains traveling between Metro Parkway and Veterans Way/College Avenue will operate every 15 minutes until 7 p.m. After 7 p.m., trains operate every 20 minutes.
  • Trains traveling between Gilbert Road/Main Street and Veterans Way/College Avenue will operate every 40 minutes all day.

Streetcar service will not be affected.
