Days remain to comment on I-10/Baseline Road interchange plans

Posted

The Arizona Department of Transportation has been asking the community for weeks to comment on interchange alternatives at Interstate 10/Baseline Road, and the deadline to do so is coming.

Comments can be registered with state transportation officials through Aug. 22 in the following ways:

  • Online Survey: https://tinyurl.com/i10baselinecomment
  • Email: gluna2@azdotgov
  • Phone: 855-712-8530
  • Mail: ADOT Community Relations, 1655 West Jackson, MD 126F, Phoenix, AZ  85007

ADOT is studying potential improvements to traffic flow and safety at the interchange due high-traffic volume and congestion in the area.

There are three alternatives being considered, including a no-build option.

The project is planned in two phases. The first consists of determining the recommended configuration for the Baseline Road interchange. The second will consist of final design of the interchange and preparation of construction documents.
