Surprise sets schedule for State of City event

Video premiere among activities at Hall’s last address

Mayor Skip Hall and the Surprise City Council invite residents to attend the city of Surprise 2024 State of the City event on Thursday, March 28 at City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.

This is Hall’s final State of the City address before his term expires in December.

The event will include a video presentation where the city will be sharing the legacy of Surprise.

The video will begin at 6:30 p.m. The video premiere will also be carried live and rebroadcast on Surprise TV and at surpriseaz.gov/surprisetv. It will also be live streamed on the city of Surprise Facebook page.

Music and appetizers start at 6 p.m. and attendees are invited to stay after the video from 7 to 8 p.m. for a celebration with complimentary snacks, entertainment and a showcase of city programs and services – including police and fire vehicle displays,

Here are the event details:

  • 6 to 6:30 p.m. — Music and appetizers
  • 6:30 to 7 p.m. — State of the City Video Premiere at Council Chambers
  • 7 to 8 p.m. — City Showcase at City Hall First Floor
