Surprise offers fall adult sports registration

The city of Surprise Parks & Recreation Department is now accepting team registrations for fall adult co-ed and men’s softball league divisions, co-ed and women’s kickball, adult basketball, co-ed indoor volleyball and adult flag football.

Surprise offers fall adult sports registration

The city of Surprise Parks & Recreation Department is now accepting team registrations for fall adult co-ed and men’s softball league divisions, co-ed and women’s kickball, adult basketball, co-ed indoor volleyball and adult flag football.

Returning teams from Surprise summer 2022 adult sports leagues may register Aug. 16 by contacting the Parks & Recreation office in person, by telephone or by email between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Registration will open to non-returning and new teams starting Aug. 18 online, over the phone or at the parks & rec office.

Registration options are to visit surpriseaz.gov/surpriserec, call 623-222-2000 or go to the office at 15960 N. Bullard Ave. Must register as a team. The minimum number of players are listed on registration page.

Adult Co-Ed and Men’s Softball

Co-ed and men’s Tuesday leagues played at Dick McComb Park – 17894 W. Park Blvd. Men’s Thursday only played at Bicentennial Park – 16705 N. Nash St.

Team Registration Fee: $450

League Nights: Men’s Tuesdays; Men’s Thursdays; Co-Ed Fridays; Co-Ed Sundays

Leagues Begin: Tuesday, Sept. 6 and on specified days following this date

League Format: Double headers and a single elimination tournament

Team Limit: Eight teams per division

Adult Basketball

Games played at Villanueva Recreation Center – 15660 N. Hollyhock St.

Team Registration Fee: $450

League Night: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Season Begins: Tuesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Sept. 22

League Format: One game per week and a single elimination tournament

Team Limit: 8 teams per league night

Co-Ed Kickball

Games played at Marley Park City Park – 15126 W. Sweetwater Ave.

Team Registration Fee: $200

League Night: Saturdays

Season Begins: Saturday, Sept. 10

League Format: Double-headers and a single elimination tournament

Team Limit: 6 teams

Women’s Kickball

Games played at Marley Park City Park – 15126 W. Sweetwater Ave.

Team Registration Fee: $200

League Night: Saturdays

Season Begins: Saturday, Sept. 10

League Format: Double-headers and a single elimination tournament

Team Limit: 6 teams

Co-Ed Indoor Volleyball

Games played at Faith Arena Ottawa University – 14440 W. Tierra Buena Lane.

Team Registration Fee: $200

League Night: Sundays

Season Begins: Sunday, Sept. 25

League Format: One match will consist of best two of three games, one match per week and a single elimination tournament

Team Limit: 8 teams

Adult Flag Football

Games played at Spirit Field Ottawa University – 14440 W. Tierra Buena Lane.

Team Registration Fee: $300

League Night: Sundays

Season Begins: Sunday, Sept. 11

League Format: Double-headers and a double elimination tournament

Team Limit: 6 teams
