Surprise hosting several Perfect Game tournaments

Surprise Stadium will be site of games throughout September

Attention baseball fans: More games are coming to Surprise.

The city will play host to Perfect Game’s Southwest Labor Day Classic and Fall National Championships protected by G-Form this September at the Surprise Stadium Complex, 15930 N. Bullard Ave.

These events are expected to bring in more than 125 teams and 2,500 players from across the country.

Perfect Game is one of the elite amateur baseball scouting organizations in existence, producing more than 100 tournaments and showcases across the country each year.

Participants are performing against top level competition in front of college recruiters and professional scouts.

Since 2003, more than 15,000 Perfect Game alumni have been selected in Major League Baseball’s First-Year Amateur Player Draft.

Here are the upcoming Perfect Game events in Surprise:

  • Aug. 30-Sept. 2: 14U-18U Southwest Labor Day Classic
  • Sept. 6-9: 13U/14U/15U Fall National Championship Protected by G-Form
  • Sept. 13-16: 18U Fall National Championship Protected by G-Form
  • Sept. 20-22: 16U Fall National Championship Protected by G-Form

Daily gate admission is $10 per person, or a tournament pass is available for $35 per person, per tournament. Ages 14 and younger are free.
