A series of Surprise City Council meetings have already been canceled for July with COVID-19 cases on the rise, including two members of the City Council itself.

District 1 Councilman Roland Winters has called off his Friday, July 10 meeting for constituents.

Likewise, in District 2, Councilwoman Nancy Hayden has cancelled her two monthly meetings in Sun City Grand and Arizona Traditions.

District 4 Councilman Ken Remley and Vice Mayor Chris Judd in District 6 have also shut down their monthly meetings for July.

District 3 Councilman Patrick Duffy still plans on hosting an event, but his regular day falls on July 4. He's still looking for a makeup date sometime in the month.

District 5 Councilman David Sanders will possibly still hold a virtual event on Facebook Live, but official confirmation isn't yet available.
