Surprise’s public safety departments offer vehicle safety seat installations and inspections several times a month as a free service to the community.
Starting Sept. 3, the car seat clinics will move from Fire Station 303 to Fire Station 307 until early 2025. This move will allow the clinics to continue while construction occurs at Fire Station 303.
Fire Station 307 is at 16171 W. Cactus Road. The clinics are offered from 9 to 10:45 a.m. on the first and third Tuesday and third Saturday of each month. No appointment is necessary; assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bring the following to the event: Your child (if you can’t get them safely to the inspection site, bring their weight and height measurements), your vehicle owner’s manual, your child seat owner’s manual.
