Democrat candidates for CD8 to face off in Surprise

Voters to hear from 4 candidates at election forum

Democrat voters will get a chance to hear from four candidates for Congressional District 8 at a candidate forum this week.
 
The combined Democratic clubs of Grand Democrats and Northwest Valley Democrats are hosting a combined CD 8 Democratic candidate's forum on at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23 at the Cimarron Center-Gila Room, 17100 W. Clearview Blvd.
 
A social period is from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m., followed by a business meeting and the forum. 
 
Four candidates are expected to participate: Marc Lewis, Bernadette Greene Placentia, Steven Sawdy and Greg Whitten.
