Birt’s Bistro opens its March entertainment schedule with back-to-back shows this weekend, on the Benevilla campus, 16752 N. Greasewood St., Surprise.
The “Happy Hour” concert series continues 5 p.m. Friday, March 6 with the return of the Melodaires, featuring vocalist Barry Dale and his “Sinatra Sound.”
The next night, 5-7 p.m. Saturday, March 7, brings Colour Blinde back to Birt’s. The combo’s mix of Latin, Brazilian, jazz and blues music features Erne Barge on guitar, Brad Griffin on guitar, Eugene Eva on bass, Mike Sheahan on drums and Hector Valencia on trumpet and flugelhorn.
