Temple Beth Shalom hosts fundraiser for residents

Temple Beth Shalom of the West Valley will host a fall fundraiser Mahjongg Tournament 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at the Palmbrook Country Club, 9350 W. Greenway Road.
Cost is $55 per player payable by check and includes a full taco bar lunch and homemade dessert bar. Tournament play begins at 10 a.m. and will include four rounds with cash prizes and a chance to win at special hands. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and players must be seated by 9:45 a.m.
A silent auction also will be featured with payment by check or cash only on the day of the event.
To participate in the tournament, the registration form and payment must be received by Nov. 1. To receive the mailing address for registration, contact the Temple office at 623-977-3240 between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday or email templebethaz@gmail.com. The registration form is available to download and print on tbsaz.org.
