I am writing in response to an article in the Independent on July 31, 2024. The article referred to clutter around homes and the hazards the pose. I have heard many homeowners, myself included, request the permission to erect a shed on our property to store items. I realize that it will require the HOA and RCSC to amend the CC&Rs for this to happen.
Many of our homeowners have relocated from the Midwest where we had basements for storage and were able to keep many items out of sight there. If the restrictions included size and construction materials such as wooden structures with shingle roofs, and perhaps 10-foot by 12-foot and no taller than 6 or 7 feet it would solve many of our issues.
