Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church, 13658 W. Meeker Blvd., in partnership with Vitalant, is hosting a blood drive 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, June 14.
This initiative aims to address the need for blood donations in the community and beyond.
Blood donations are essential for a variety of medical procedures, from surgeries to treatments for cancer and other illnesses. The contributions of donors can save lives and provide hope to those in need.
“We are excited to host this blood drive and make a meaningful impact on the lives of others,” said Deborah Lerner, senior pastor at Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church. “Every donation has the potential to make a difference, and we encourage everyone in the community to participate.”
To register for the blood drive, individuals can visit vitalant.org and use the code 10054986. Walk-in donors are also welcome. For any inquiries or assistance with registration, contact Julie Killebrew at 623-215-2030.
