Sun City Daughter receives historical stamp collection

Deena Gibson, of the Sun City National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Agua Fria Chapter, received Eldon Leemhuis’s 40-year stamp collection from a family friend, which will be sent to “Stamps for the Wounded” to be used in veterans stamp collections.

Leemhuis even saved stamps during his tour of duty in Vietnam. Agua Fria Chapter Daughters also save untrimmed old used stamps, which are used for physical therapy to clip, steam, pull or peel the stamps off the paper for stamp collections.
