Eleven members of the Camera Guild of Sun City entered prints and projected images in the Arizona Camera Club Council Spring Roundup Competition March 9 in Sun Lakes. Participants could enter up to two images per category in both print and projected. The categories included Color Open, Monochrome Open, Nature, Photojournalism, Creative and Photo Travel.
Award winners included Michelle Cook-Anderson, with a first in Creative projected image, an honorable mention in Photojournalism print and four accepted awards; Barry Cline, with three accepted awards; Bill George, with two accepted awards; Shirley Ramaley, with two honorable mentions, one in Color Open projected and another in Creative projected, and four accepted awards; Lonna Ramsey, with an honorable mention in Photo Travel projected and two accepted awards; George Trimmer, who received the Bob Metz Distinguished Monochrome Award on his honorable mention Monochrome Open print, two other honorable mentions, one in Creative print and one in Creative projected, and two accepted awards; and John Wood, who received a third place for his Nature print and an accepted award. Other participants included Jodie Cline, Cheryl Drake, Carolyn Ferrell and Richard Terreo.
