Southwest Behavioral & Health Services (SB&H), a leader in behavioral health, received a Lovitt & Touché (L&T) Risk Culture Inversion Award.

Honored for embracing the principles of Inversion as delivered by the Lovitt & Touché Risk Control Team, this is the third year in a row that SB&H has received the recognition.

SB&H has two Glendale locations, at 4431 N. 27th Ave., and 2042 N. 35th Ave.

The Inversion Awards follow L&T’s safety model and philosophy, which, taking the form of an inverted triangle, emphasizes proactive steps organizations can take to lead toward zero safety incidents, according to a news release.

Award recipients, chosen by a panel of L&T officers, were selected based on the following criteria: used the L&T risk management resources; embraced the principles of Inversion as delivered by the L&T risk control team; sustained an internal culture shift within the organization based on their interactions with L&T; and had a remarkable and favorable turnaround and are now operating as a healthier business.

“Our internal safety practices are a top priority here,” Southwest Behavioral & Health Services Director of Risk Management Saran Hansen shared in a statement. “I’m proud of our team for winning the award three years in a row and will continue our efforts to create a safe workplace for all.”

Phoenix-based Southwest Behavioral & Health Services SB&H is a 501©3 nonprofit that provides compassionate primary care, substance abuse, and mental health services that enhance lives and improve communities.
