PHOENIX — UMOM New Day Centers is thrilled to announce its 60th Anniversary Celebration with our Rock the Block event.

How to sign up

Registration is $30 per person. It includes all-day access to the Phoenix Zoo and a UMOM drawstring bag and water bottle.

Register at umom.org/zoo.

What to Expect

Experience a morning of fun and purpose as DJ Crisco Kidd from 101.1 The Bounce kicks off the morning festivities. Enjoy activities for all ages provided by community partners, sip on complimentary coffee and snacks (courtesy of Circle K) and take part in an exciting scavenger hunt to learn more about UMOM’s impact all while hanging with our playful zoo animals.

The event will also feature unique community experiences with the Phoenix Symphony, AZ Ballet, cha-cha dancing, yoga, a hoop dancer, photo opportunities with the Star Wars legion and much more. Plus, Wahl Mobile Barbershop will be offering free beard trims through its mobile barbershop onsite at the Phoenix Zoo. What’s even better — for each trim they will be donating $100 to UMOM.

Rock the Block is more than just a fundraising event; it’s about celebrating UMOM’s legacy of service and raising awareness and funds about the vital services of UMOM. Every dollar raised will have a direct impact on the lives of families experiencing homelessness.
