Keith George, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty in Mesa, recently donated 237 pounds of food and $2,040 to the Superstition Community Food Bank in Apache Junction.

The donation is a result of the generosity of the Meridian Manor community, where George hosted his 11th Annual Community Appreciation Event. Some 480 neighbors enjoyed a catered meal from Babbo’s Italian Restaurant along with the talents of Michael Lawrence and the Surefire Band, according to a release.

“It has been very important to us over the years to say a big ‘thank you’ to our neighbors who support our business by hosting a celebration for them. In addition, we want to support our local community. This event allowed us to do both. A big thanks to the Meridian Manor community for partnering with us in making this donation possible. The Superstition Community Food Bank is an outstanding organization we are proud to support,” George said.

He is a sales associate at Coldwell Banker Realty, 6402 E. Superstition Springs Blvd. Suite No. 100 in Mesa, according to keithgeorge.cbintouch.com/about.

The Superstition Community Food Bank is at 575 N. Idaho Road Suite 101 in Apache Junction.
