No foul play is evident in the weekend drowning death of a 30-year-old woman, Phoenix authorities said Tuesday.
At about 8 p.m. June 16, police found Angela Lisa floating in a raft with her head submerged in water near 1700 East Thunderbird Road, according to a release.
She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
“At this time, there are no signs that indicate foul play is suspected. Preliminary information suggests that impairment might be a factor,” the release stated.
The investigation is pending a postmortem examination and toxicology report.
