The series, which runs September through December, includes more than 50 concerts from multiple genres and features artists from around the world. The Musical Instrument Museum is located at 4725 E. Mayo Blvd., in Phoenix.

Season highlights include performances by ’80s pop icon Debbie Gibson, Grammy-winning soul singer and bassist Meshell Ndegeocello, Grammy-nominated Black female a cappella ensemble Sweet Honey in the Rock, and a holiday concert by Grammy-winning folk icon Judy Collins.

The series will feature several performers making their MIM Music Theater debut. Among the newcomers are Grammy-winning musician T Bone Burnett; Grammy-nominated songwriter John Hiatt; R&B singer Will Downing; Rick Wakeman of the progressive rock band Yes; and Thelonious Monk Institute International Jazz Competition winner Jazzmeia Horn.

Other favorites returning to the Phoenix theater include soul music legend Booker T. Jones; Hot Tuna, which features Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady of Jefferson Airplane; Grammy-nominated funk, soul, and Afro-Cuban musician Cimafunk; Grammy-nominated jazz guitarist Julian Lage; and Grammy-nominated cabaret icon Marilyn Maye.

Holiday concerts include Mark O’Connor’s “An Appalachian Christmas,” Spanish Harlem Orchestra’s “Salsa Navidad,” “Irish Christmas in America,” and the Klezmatics’ “Happy Joyous Hanukkah.”

“This fall, we are proud to host a diverse array of exceptional musicians representing a multitude of genres from around the world,” Andrew Walesch, MIM Music Theater artistic director, shared in a press release.

Additional artists will be added to the lineup throughout the season.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 at MIM.org.
