After Peoria Police officers asked the public's help in finding a child's parents, they were able to locate the boy.

The child is pictured in the photo at the top of this article.

He is a 3- to 5-year old male, wearing only blue boxer briefs. He is about 40 inches tall and weighs around 30 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

The boy was found Aug. 30 around 9 a.m., near the area of 87th and Peoria avenues. The parents were located a couple hours later.
