The second Power of Hope Conference, hosted by the group Parents of Addicted Loved Ones, will be held Oct. 5
The event, which runs 8 a.m.-5 p.m., features various speakers on the topic of addiction to provide insights, tools and support for those affected, organizers said.
Dr. Holly Geyer, from the Mayo Clinic in Arizona, will talk about the opioid crisis. Hollywood director Mark Rosman will talk about what a family goes through during an individual's addiction. And Psychologist Dr. Aaorn Weiner will speak on addition and the impact of drug policy on public health.
