Paige Productions to host summer camps in Fountain Hills

Youth theater introduces Studio Art Class Camp

Longtime Fountain Hills resident and the owner of Paige Productions Youth Theater (PYT) Paige Beckman announced the theater’s first-ever Studio Art Class Summer Camp.

“I remember searching for activities in Fountain Hills for my own kids when they were young. I would have loved having an art class for them that I didn’t have to drive to Scottsdale for,” Beckman said. “I like trying to create new opportunities for kids and families close to home. I am excited to offer our summer art camp to kick off our 2024 season of summer camps.”

The Studio Art Class Summer Camp will span three days of artistic exploration, sketching, watercolor pencils, brush markers and more.

Art Camp (May 29-31) – “Unleash Your Creativity”

Budding artists can explore sketching, watercolor pencils, brush markers and more. The Art Camp is a perfect canvas for young imaginations.

Madagascar: A Musical Adventure JR Summer Camp (June 3-14) – “Get Ready to Move It, Move It”

Join PYT for an unforgettable journey as students bring the beloved characters from Madagascar to life in this musical extravaganza. Kids will sing, dance and act in this two-week adventure that culminates in a showcase.

The Aristocats KIDS Summer Camp (June 17-28) – “Purr-fectly Magical”

Enter the enchanting world of aristocratic felines in The Aristocats KIDS Summer Camp. With catchy tunes and adorable characters, this camp promises a “purr-fect” blend of entertainment and theatrical education.

Acting & Improv Summer Camp (July 8-11) – “Lights, Camera, Action”

Sharpen acting skills and discover the art of improvisation in this dynamic camp. From dramatic scenes to improv games, participants will gain confidence in expressing themselves on stage.

Sonic, Mario & Princess Summer Acting Camp (July 8-11) – “Game On”

Jump into the world of iconic video game characters with the Sonic, Mario and Princess Summer Acting Camp. Whether it’s capturing the essence of Sonic’s speed or bringing Mario’s charm to life, this camp is a virtual adventure on stage.

The Wicked Wizard of OZ Summer Camp (July 15-26) – “Follow the Yellow Brick Road”

Embark on a magical journey down the Yellow Brick Road with The Wicked Wizard of OZ Summer Camp. From Dorothy to the Wizard himself, participants will explore the timeless tale through acting, singing and dancing.

PTY is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for children to express themselves creatively.

PYT’s experienced and passionate instructors ensure that each camper receives personalized attention and encouragement to shine on stage.

Registration is now open for all camps, and space is limited. Parents are invited to secure a spot for their young performers early to ensure a summer filled with laughter, learning and lasting memories.
