Access ASU is celebrating the Arizona State University-led NASA Psyche mission launch with a themed spirit week and photo contest for students throughout the state. The Psyche mission, selected by NASA’s discovery program, will launch on Oct. 5, starting its journey to an asteroid orbiting the sun between Mars and Jupiter.

Dec. 21 marked the national Homeless Person’s Memorial Day, and also marked over 1,000 deaths this year alone for the homeless in Maricopa County. That number means more than double the number of people experiencing homelessness have died 2022 compared with 2021, according to a statement form the Central Arizona Shelter Services. Last December, CASS reported approximately 500 individuals had died on the streets.
