TPC Scottsdale among country’s most scenic golf courses

In an age when social media is everywhere, you can’t even escape it on the golf course.
But then, who would want to when you’re playing on one of the most beautiful courses in the country according to Instagram followers.

A new study by golf apparel company Galvin Green has uncovered the ten most picturesque golf courses in the US, based on the number of Instagram tagged posts that mention each course - and Scottsdale TPC was ranked 10th in the country 24,512 posts.

TPC Scottsdale has a blend of desert landscape, strategic bunkering, and challenging water hazards that creates a visually stunning and demanding test of golfing skill, according to a press release from Galvin Green.

Augusta National Golf Club, in Georgia, holds the No. 1 spot with 123,399 posts followed by TPC Sawgrass, in Florida, in second with 59,528 posts.

Despite the presence of private clubs, six out of the top 10 most picturesque courses are open to the public.
