Meeting Aug. 28

The Scottsdale Society of Women Writers will host Dr. Marcia Reynolds, behavioral researcher, global coach and author of six award-winning books, at its meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. on Aug. 28. The meeting will be held at Panera Bread at Gainey Village, 8777 N. Scottsdale Rd., #302.

Reynolds will speak on “The journey for finding my passion for writing.”

“The reason Marcia wrote each of her six books is directly connected to both her disappointments and successes,” according to a press release. “When she finally discovered what was calling her to contribute, her last two books became international bestsellers. She will briefly share what led her to write each of her books and then demonstrate the work she is most enthusiastic about by coaching a volunteer from the audience who has a challenge they would like to break through.”
