City of Scottsdale earns special designation from Salt River Project for sustainability efforts

The City of Scottsdale was honored by the Salt River Project for its sustainibility efforts.
According to a press release, the city was awarded a Platinum Designation through SRP’s 2024 Sustainable Cities Program.
This award was given to Scottsdale because of their Advanced Water Treatment Facility, the first of its kind in Arizona, as well as its commitment to being a bicycle friendly and tree friendly city.
These initiatives were recognized by Salt River Project for the city’s commitment to sustainable growth as well as its support of SRP’s environmental policies and goals.
