The Amore Soiree – Tulum Meets the Desert festival is set from 4 to 9 p.m., Nov. 9 at the Scottsdale Civic Center, 3939 N Drinkwater Blvd.

Attendees will indulge in exclusive tequila tastings while immersing themselves in the electrifying sounds of Afrobeat House music by Shimza, OVEOUS and Pasta Rada, according to a press release.

An exclusive tequila-tasting area will give guests a unique opportunity to learn about tequila and sample some of the best varieties available. Beer, seltzers and mixed cocktails will also be provided at the event in a beer garden. Food vendors like Santo and Los Olivos will offer tacos, tapas, and other delicious food at the event.

V.I.P. tickets are $99 and include eight tequila tastings and five food tickets. The Amore Club package is $199, and guests can enjoy all the V.I.P. perks along with access to the lounge area around the DJ booth, an all-you-can-eat buffet, an exclusive cocktail menu and four pre-paid drinks. The event organizer is also offering a $49 phoneless ticket package where guests will check in their phones upon entry to fully immerse themselves into the getaway experience. If attendees need to use their phones, there will be a designated phone area at the venue. Digital disposable cameras will be available upon request to capture memories at the festival. This event is for ages 21 and older.
