ACFC unveils new Scottsdale kitchen sponsored by D-backs Foundation

The Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children announced the unveiling of a new Scottsdale kitchen sponsored by the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation.

Called Baxter’s Kitchen, the space is located inside of ACFC at 7010 E. Cochise Road in Scottsdale, and is intended provide a welcoming space for people battling cancer and their families, according to a press release.

Baxter’s Kitchen will be unveiled on Sept. 5 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at ACFC. The event will feature appetizers, drinks and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The kitchen is equipped to seat 40 people to be served buffet style. Families can also bring pre-made meals home.

The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation helped to sponsor this kitchen with philanthropy in mind.
